What a Thing !!

OK Right of the bat... What Primary email services do you use, and I am positively assuming a your saying, Gmail ! Hotmail/Outlook! Is anybody saying Yahoo yet ?? Well if you're not saying yahoo, then your probably right not to and I'm right with you, and then if you are well too bad for you cause get this..not even yahoo's employees use their email services.LOL I know right.

According to a recent release from Fox News, "Only 25 percent of Yahoo’s own employees use the company’s email offering, even after company executives exhorted them all to switch off of Microsoft’s Outlook, according to a leaked memo." (SMH)

Apparently the Executives are practically begging their employees, to switch off a product they describe as "a T.Rex born to yuppie dinosaur parents." (LOL)

In truth I can't blame Yahoo's employees, as yahoo is in every sense relevant to the proverb; "love that once run hot soon get Cold." This yahoo issue reminds me of the dear old blackberry and RIM; in that when the things first came out everybody rushed it and then after getting used to the boring old thing and eventually something young and fresh comes along and we carefully pay attention to the old looking for the slightest problem and reason to ditch, dump or move on from the old.

But I think that this was long coming for yahoo, because their services have gotten really tedious, I mean why do you have to do security and captcha checks every time you have to sign in? That is enough to to throw some people off well at least me.

G mail and Outlook are actually doing a lot better, particularly with the ease of navigation, sending and receiving emails, categorizing and so on and not to mention easy sign in and better security.

I don't know about you all, but I'm not going back to yahoo, maybe there may be a slight possibility if they regroup and come back with something exceptional. Matter of fact have you seen there new user interface? With out a doubt they are copying Google's g mail look. Check out the slide show on the link I provided below.
